HB 693 by Paxton — Removing the phrase “Home of George W Bush” from signs that say “Welcome to Texas” on highways as you enter the state.
The bill would require that Bush’s name be taken off the signs at the end of his term. Future presidents from Texas would have their names displayed as Bush’s is now.
