This is the title poem in one of Vikram Seth’s books of poetry. I found it while randomly “surfing” books at my high school library — quite a few years ago now. It’s still probably my favorite poem.
All You Who Sleep Tonight
All you who sleep tonight
Far from the ones you love,
No hand to left or [...]
. . . from all this (the break-up), it’s how many friends I have and how absolutely wonderful they are.

Bad News: Lindsay broke it off yesterday. I’m crying like a little bitch at work, which is just perfect considering I’m filling in for the receptionist. Nothing like coming into an office where the receptionist is crying. People must think, “What do they do? Beat their employees?”
