KKK Supporting Ron Paul?

The conservative Lone Star Times is reporting that presidential hopeful Ron Paul has received campaign donations from the white supremacist movement.

The LST, which I’m certain I’d never agree with otherwise, has been digging up information on the donations, the Web site owned by the contributor, Don Black, and a bunch of other facts that show Black’s current wife as being the ex-wife of David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan. Oh, what an incestuous world the white supremacy movement is.

I don’t know why a white supremacist would support Ron Paul. Maybe because he thinks a President Paul (or pee-pee) would vocally endorse first-cousin and brother-and-sister marriage? Or he’d be a-okay with cross burning as a First Amendment right? Or maybe Black just hates the troops.

Is that the same Don Black that endorsed George W. Bush when he was running for office?

  2. admin says:

    Yes, says the Village Voice.

Doesn’t Don Black usually, if not always, donate or publically support the more conservative of whoever is running, and usually, i not always, the republicans? ex: clinton vs dole, black endorsed dole, i don’t think that really says anything about dole or paul for that matter does it?

  4. admin says:

    I didn’t say it did.

But I do agree that Paul should donate the money to an anti-racist cause. If only to stick a finger in Black’s eye.

Maybe, but it’s really a non-issue, especially compared to hsu getting about 1,000,000.00 to clinton. this was only 500.00, they don’t know for certain that it is the same guy, it was unsolicited, and it seems to me that any attention given to it by paul would turn this non-issue into something bigger than it actually is.

    in other words, who cares?

its a distraction, ron should just stick to his anti-war, small-gov message.

why a white supremacist would support Ron Paul.

Paul has a strong anti-illegal-immigration stance (calls for an end to birthright citizenship, among other things).
Paul has spoken against the civil rights act of 1964 for states’ rights reasons (same as Goldwater).
Paul opposes all foreign aid, including aid to Israel, and has spoken against the influence AIPAC has on our foreign policy.

If you’re a white nationalist and you don’t like Mexicans, Blacks, and Jews, the above policy positions probably look pretty good.

And I support Ron Paul, too. But not because of any racial animus.

I am sure there are some gays, transexuals, lesbians, beer drinkers and porn watchers that have donated to him as well.

Does that mean Ron Paul is any or all of those? No.
