This is stupid.

Abigail Noel Fisher, 18, a white senior at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land is suing the University of Texas System, accusing the university of illegally using race in determining admissions.

Fisher is in the top 12 percent of her graduating class, not enough to gain her automatic admission under the state’s top 10 percent law.

How is this girl being discriminated against on a racial basis when the standard to be automatically admitted to a state university is being in the top ten percent of her high-school class; not the top 12 percent?

It’s an African-American’s, Asian-American’s, Native American’s fault that she couldn’t make decent enough grades to be in the top ten percent of her class?

I don’t agree with the fact that the Top Ten Percent rule is based on geographic segregation, but I also don’t agree with frivolous lawsuits merely based on selfishness. If you wanted to get into UT automatically, maybe you should have studied harder. Loser.

Texas sickens me more and more.
