HOCHBERG ANNOUNCES HE WILL NO9T SEEK RE-ELECTION–Garnet Coleman’s chief of staff Joe Madden said to be 99.99% in the race.

Which means I now have to post what I was recently writing about Joe ASAP so people dont think it was just because he’s running for office.

Thanksgiving

Today, Misty made sweet potatoes and stuffing. I made cranberries (not out of a can).

It will be a small Thanksgiving — only six people. My parents, my grandfather, my sister and us. We’ll miss my brother, Matt, and his wife. It’s their first Thanksgiving in Knoxville.

I broke up some ground in the front yard to hopefully spur me to plant something there and build a small bird feeder platform.

Also, one of our dogs, Sam, had his balls cut off today.

As tough and revealing as this year has been, I’m still thankful for my family, who are always behind me; the friends I can rely on; and, most of all, my lovely wife, who grows more beautiful each day and has probably saved my life more than once.

I just strode about my house in my underwear wielding a flyswatter. I killed many flies, and did not feel uncomfortable doing it while mostly nude. This must be some primal thing. Covering only the loins and stalking prey.
